John Rolls (Proprietor / Technician)

John has been building and working with computers since 1980 when he built his first Sinclair ZX81.  With over 27 years experience, he is a competent user in many applications and his knowledge of programming gave him a head start when studying the system files which make up the various versions of Windows.  Qualified by several Microsoft approved centres for configuration of Windows, and also by the British Computer Society for the advanced use of MS Office applications, John is available for help and support both via the workshop and online

John Golding (Senior Technician)

John G joined the team in 2005, and is in the process of completing his ICT Level 3 qualification (hardware repair and software installation).  As well as our primary technician, John also holds qualification in Web Design and currently maintains several sites for various customers.  He is also interested in hacking (for legal purposes) and is adept at password cracking and breaking security systems.  Ask John to test how secure your PC really is! 

Rowan Clarke (On-line Sales)

An experienced PC user, Rowan is a fan of Linux based programs, preferring Firefox and Thunderbird to their Microsoft counterparts.  She therefore brings many fresh and experimental ideas into the office, helping us to find the best for our customers, instead of sticking with the famous tried and tested brands.  She began working in our shop on Saturdays, and now appears in our various webcasts across this site.

Maxine Rolls (Software Support)

Maxine has recently been approved by the British Computer Society for her ICT Level 3 qualification - a certificate aimed at the "power-user who wants to create professional looking documents and complex documents and outputs".  She is part of the OnLine support team and is an excellent one-to-one tutor for all of the Microsoft Office applications.  Her level 3 qualifications include Word, Excel and Powerpoint and awaiting results for Access, and also holds a level 2 qualifications  MS Outlook.

Amy Davies - Promotions Clerk / Technical Assistant

Phil Williams - Sales / Assistant Technician

The youngest member of our team is a keen game player, and knows all about specifications for the latest gaming software.  He has recently completed his GCSE in Information Technology and is experienced in Windows Vista.  He works in our shop every Saturday and participated in minor technical repairs.
